They are typically made up of hyaluronic acid, that enables injection into the skin for purposes of improving the appearance. You can have dermal fillers in different parts of your face and body.
Dermal fillers can replace lost volume to help smooth wrinkles, plump the lips, and restore a more youthful appearance.

1.1ml is for volume.
It may take up to 3 weeks for bruising and swelling to resolve completely. In most cases swelling and bruising does dissipate after a number of days.
If you would like to add to the same area , then it is recommended that you wait until the injection site is fully healed and previous filler is completely settled, before you add any more; so allow at least 6-8 weeks.
While less common, you should be aware of the following side effects: infections, lumps and bumps, and discoloration or change in pigmentation.
Some filler can also help with pigmentation. This is when your dark circles are caused by darker pigment in your skin, as opposed to shadows created from the hollows under your eyes.
There are ingredients in the filler products we use, that can aid in helping to brighten the under eyes.
Please note: in some cases, dark circles are largely due to genetics and can also be caused by dehydration, lack of sleep and blood vessels in the area.
They made from a material called hyaluronic acid, which gradually gets broken down by our bodies over time.
Please note: all clients must provide identification prior to treatment.
It uses dissolvable sutures to lift and elongate the eye to create a more almond shape.
The results of this technique are unique because as well as raising the eyebrows, it also opens up the eyes and stretches any sagging of the upper eyelid.
However, results can last for 2-3 years on average.
Hyaluronidase can only be used on hyaluronic acid fillers. It cannot be used on semi-permanent fillers such as collagen fillers - these will usually disappear with time, butif you're not prepared to wait, the fillers may need to be excised. Permanent fillers will always need to be surgically removed.
Usually, 2-4 weeks post-injection the hyaluronic acid in your filler will pull water from your body and bind it to itself. This "softens" and "settles" the filler and is why we usually tell clients to wait a minimum of 2 weeks post-injection for optimal results.
It is a substance that occurs naturally in our bodies and that can bind huge amounts of water. Thereby, hyaluronic acid keeps our body tissues soft, hydrated and flexible.
So, with the right injector, you will get the most natural-looking (and feeling) lips.
We love all of the products we use but are especially impressed by the teosyal kiss range.

Alcohol is one of the most significant factors for more than average bleeding during your injectables appointment. Alcohol is a substance that is known to thin the blood. And the blood vessels can become enlarged after having a few drinks - even days after drinking. During treatment, more blood, bruising and swelling may appear if you recently indulged.
However, with any injections into the skin with dermal filler, lumpiness may occur. Umpiness is very common to feel in your skin in the days after injection of dermal filler into the face, including the upper lip body and the cheeks and the chin area and along wrinkles and folds when injected to lift these. It will usually resolve within 14 days.
Lumps typically occur because of bruises under the filler or could be that the product may have been injected in a larger deposit in one area - this will resolve nearly all the time.
This includes:
- How much is injected
- The speed at which your body metabolises the filler material that is why its typically about the individual. Your body could metabolise it at a faster rate than someone else.
